We love our community and have a vision of making a difference in the lives of those around us. You are invited to join us as we step out into the community and put feet to our faith. We will have multiple projects at various local organizations who are eager for us to help them in their mission.

Habitat ReSTORE needs our help with moving, sorting, lifting, assembling, and organizing all current and in-coming levels of donations. It ranges from all types of furniture items, tools, hardware, electronics, toys/bikes, etc. Let’s help Habitat ReSTORE get organized so they can continue to help those in our community!
Requirements: Please bring water, work gloves, and closed-toe shoes. Ages 16+.

3495 Sugarloaf Pkwy, Lawrenceville, GA 30044 (behind First Christian Baptist Church)
Family Promise needs our help sprucing up their campus – BOTH inside and outside! This will entail some simple yard work – trimming hedges, cutting down low hanging branches, weed removal, and parking lot cleanup. They also need some help in their administrative offices – the spaces which see most of the day-to-day foot traffic which require sweeping & mopping floors, cleaning baseboards, wiping down window blinds – a true deep clean all around. This project calls for an energetic volunteer group!!

We have the opportunity to literally plant the seeds that will help feed the needy in Gwinnett County! The Gwinnett County Department of Community Services has a Spring Garden workday to help them in preparing soil, planting seedlings, spreading mulch, weeding, etc. Everything that is planted will ultimately be harvested and donated to local food pantries and food Co-Ops throughout Gwinnett!
All ages welcome.

Every home needs a little love, support, & TLC! The Quinn House is no exception! The Quinn House needs help with preparing 100+ food boxes for senior citizens, as well as some potential minor landscaping and yardwork in preparation for spring (all tools will be provided)! We will also help them do some minor clean-up tasks to help spruce up the house. Let’s help bless the residents of this amazing home!

The Quinn House operates a thrift store that supplies clothing, furniture, and appliances to the needy for little to no charge! They need our help in organizing, shifting, moving, and relocating various items in and throughout the store! Let’s help this thrift story be THIRFTY! Also, this center needs some help to distribute food items (on campus) to those less fortunate – so let’s jump in to help! Lastly, these centers also help furnish homes for people who have gone through The Quinn House program and are out on their own. All proceeds from the store go toward the operations of the Quinn House ministries (gas, rent, electricity, etc).

The North Gwinnett Co-Op needs assistance inside their Second Blessings Thrift Store. Volunteers will be handling various tasks such as receiving, sorting and sifting through donations, as well as discarding unwanted items. This is a great opportunity to lend a hand and support our ongoing efforts.
Requirements: Volunteers must be able to stand, walk, bend, as there is no sitting on either side of the warehouse. Ages 12+.

Located right between C3 Church and Georgia Gwinnett College, this is the ideal project to ensure the elderly and our senior living community are experiencing a life of tranquility and peace. The Garden Plaza and The Bridge have asked us to help them clean up and wipe down their dusty windows -- to enjoy the spring time on their amazing property! We’ll also potentially clear up some of the courtyard spaces to help beautify their campus! Let’s help Garden Plaza make sure their guests are always feeling comfortable and cozy!

For those of you who love to be part of a team and want to help on SERVE DAY, the Lawrenceville Co-Op is the place to be! The Food Pantry and Donation Center need your help with cleaning, organizing, and sorting. Let’s set The Lawrenceville Co-Op up for success by showing them what it means to be on the Dream Team!

For those of us where lifting and bending probably isn’t the best idea, we still have a community service opportunity for you! Linda Johnston will be heading up a prayer team to cover all Dream Team members going out into our community. The Prayer Team will huddle together and break away into groups to cover each of every project that is happening on SERVE DAY. This project is ideal for those who can't necessarily perform the typical “physical” rigors of a SERVE DAY project, but who still want to participate and support our efforts in serving the community!
